Camp Evangelist
Wally Fleming is glad to be back at Pleasantville Christian Camp, a place that holds many memories for him. He grew up in Erie and remembers attending youth camps at Pleasantville. (Does anyone remember the camp in which Rev. Howard Rose taught the teenagers how to conduct themselves while on a dinner date?) Wally pastored for thirteen years in the Keystone Conference, serving as the Conference Secretary at several Annual Conferences. (Recall when those yearly gatherings were held over three days at Pleasantville?) The final twenty-five years of his ministry were in churches of the Genesis Conference.
Retired from pastoral ministry in 2017, Wally continues to teach at Roberts Wesleyan University and Northeastern Seminary. He also serves as the chair of the board at Heritage Ministries, a Free Methodist-affiliated organization that ministers to senior adults living in communities in New York, Pennsylvania, Illinois, and Washington. He is involved, along with Mark Logan and Rev. Dr. Doug Cullum, in providing training to Free Methodist pastors in Rwanda, Africa. Wally and his wife, Mary, recently celebrated 44 years of marriage and enjoy good books, traveling, and spending time with three “adopted” grandchildren.
Youth Pastor
We are Eric and Sarah Brown! We've been married for 9 years and have 3 kids; Eden (6), Elijah (3), and Lucas (brand new!).
Our time together began when I (Eric) joined leadership at the Youngsville Free Methodist youth group about 11 years ago. We have since had various missions and street evangelism experiences, and served on the Keystone Conference Youth Ministry Team until 2 years ago when God invited us to temporarily leave home and attend a discipleship school in Texas. Life with Jesus has been a progressively crazier journey for our family, and we love Him so much!
Our heart and passion is to help equip this generation to step into the fullness of the identity that Jesus purchased for us on the cross. We believe that our only mission is to make way for the Holy Spirit to minister to each individual soul as He sees fit and simply enjoy watching Him flick the light switch in people's hearts as they realize the power of the love of Christ for them!
